Waaf sponsored their 3rd Children's Snowman Building Contest during the Winter Carnival this year on Saturday, February 3, 2007 in the Ridley's parking lot. Over 40 kids participated with great enthusiasm building their own creations of snow men--despite the ice, snow, and  below zero temperature.
Josh Hersel's 3D model of Aquatic Recreation Center is on display and can be viewed at the Waaf Thrift Store during business hours.
